Mark 19 Gun - The 40mm MK19 machine gun is an air-cooled, disintegrating metal, belt-fed, recoil-operated fully automatic weapon that can be crew-carried for short distances with limited ammunition. It can fire a variety of 40mm grenades. The M430 HEDP 40mm grenade will penetrate armor up to two centimeters thick and produce fragments that will kill personnel within five meters and injure personnel within 15 meters of the point of impact.
Related components are: MK64 Cradle Mount, MOD 5; M3 tripod mount; and the AN/TVS-5 night vision. The MK19 also mounts to the armed weapon station of the LVTP7A1 AAV model and the vehicle's ring mounts.

@thelema_boy_ drew attention to the identification code NSN 1010-01-490-9697, which can be seen on one of the "black pallets" delivered to Ukraine on January 28.
